Reatha Butler

Reatha Butler has over 30 years of professional experience, including an extensive corporate background in commercial lending, project management, training and development, sales, and marketing. As Broker/Owner of Ashley Garrett Residential Brokerage, she uses her business acumen, her negotiation expertise, and professionalism to achieve the best for her client base. Reatha has been a licensed Colorado real estate broker since 2007. In 2009, she started Ashley Garrett Residential Brokerage. Reatha currently holds National Association of Realtors® Graduate Realtor Institute, the designation of ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and certifications of CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), CIAS (Certified Investor Agent Specialist) expired, CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert), MRP (Military Relocation Professional) and SFR (Short Sale Foreclosure Resource). Reatha advocates for homeownership through her position as Vice Chair of Pikes Peak Association of Realtors® Public Policy Committee and active participant in Pikes Peak Association of Realtors® Collaboration of Independent Brokers. She is a member in good standing with the Colorado Association of Realtors®, National Association of Realtors®, and Pikes Peak Association of Realtors®. Reatha received her BA in International Relations from Boston University. Before entering real estate full-time, Reatha worked with Sanwa Bank Ltd, a top Japanese financial institution in the heart of Los Angeles, California. There she moved from administrative assistant in Project Finance to Risk Management Coordinator. Upon selection and completion of the company’s Management Development Program and a few brutal years in the trenches, she was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending and Business Development in San Francisco, California. Reatha’s professional experience continued in Reston, Virginia with Unisys Corporation’s Federal Government Group where she worked on implementation of sales force automation systems, marketing, and public relations and, subsequently, professional training and development. Reatha is a California native. She loves anything related to personal development and the brain and works very hard not to take “it all” too seriously. Real estate is what she does. Oh, by the way, the best thing to come out of all the above is her wonderful marriage to Rahn Butler and their two beautiful children for which the company is named.
